For Immediate Release:
Safe Work Australia Month and Rose Training Australia

After the announcement of the “Safe Work Australia Month” of October from Minister for Employment and Safety Ambassador Senator Eric Abetz, Rose Training Australia have been preparing to make others safety aware in their workplaces as much as possible. After shocking statistics revealing that nearly 200 people perished in work related incidents in 2013, it has become clear that Safe Work Australia Month is necessary.
While the number of deaths in the workplace last year was 191, which is the lowest number of deaths related to the workplace on record, even one death in the workplace across Australia would be too many. This is why Rose Training Australia fully supports the nation’s push towards safety in the workplace. Even the smallest amount of safety awareness could save a life.
The current Safe Work Australia Month programme makes the point that safety awareness and proper safety protocol in the workplace doesn’t only make the workplace a safer and more enjoyable environment for the workers, but it also boosts productivity. A boost in productivity is something welcomed in any and every workplace, not to mention the fact that all lives and limbs are secured in a safe environment.
For the full month of October, The Virtual Seminar Series will be held online, showcasing safety experts across the globe. Both Australia’s first and foremost safety officials and those from overseas will be presenting interactive briefs and seminars concerning safety in the workplace. The Virtual Seminar Series will also be demonstrating workplace safety conferred by business leaders and live online workplace safety panels.
