Rose Training talks ASQA and the TAE Dual Diploma!

Are you a trainer in the Voc Ed sector? Do you have the TAE Dual Diploma? Do you train the Certificate IV in TAE? There are some upcoming changes to ASQA standards! By 2017, trainers and assessors who are delivering the TAE40110 Cert IV must hold one (or more) of:
a) Diploma of Voc Ed and Training (TAE50111)
b) Diploma of Training Design and Development (TAE50211), or
c) A higher level qualification in adult qualification.
At Rose Training, we offer a) and b) concurrently (as part of our TAE Dual Diploma) or separately. As part of the Dual Voc Ed Diploma (also known as the TAE Dual Diploma), you will receive both qualifications. Our next TAE Dual Diploma course is on 23 February 2015. We still have places available in both courses, so give us a call if you are interested! Our Voc Ed Dual Diploma is a challenging, rewarding, and thoroughly enjoyable course which improves on so many of the skills and tools founded in the TAE Certificate IV.
Additionally, any Voc Ed trainer or assessor is required to have either the TAE40110 Cert IV in TAE. You can train an accredited course with the TAE or higher but you an only assess with the TAE.
Why is the TAE Dual Diploma such a fantastic course?
Gary Rose tells us that, “It’s a challenging, rigorous and rewarding course which is contextualised to each student’s individual requirements. We make it work for the student, not the other way around. Each group of students is diverse and talented, and we want to meet their needs – the training, as we always say, needs to be high quality, it needs to be fun and it needs to be relevant. That’s what I aim to do every time I train a TAE Dual Diploma.”
What can a student expect from the TAE Dual Diploma?

Gary says, “In the first week, we look into a scenario where each student is a training consultant. We devise ways of analysing various issues with a real organisation. We look at how we can build appropriate training that takes into consideration legal, ethical and organisational standards and principles. On top of that, we explore a plethora of LL&N information regarding learning theories and strategies.”
“Every day of training is different – some days will focus on group work, others on individual self-directed learning, pairs, the list goes on! We do this because every learner is different, and we want to cater to each students’ strengths in the classroom.”
